Open Roads is Pim Schaaf, digital nomad with over 10 years of experience in web development. Open Roads creates responsive WordPress websites for companies and individuals in cooperation with web professionals and delivers services for WordPress installations through technical search engine optimization and WordPress security. Work is done independently from time and place.
On the road I’m productive from the minimalistic office in my bag. In it, is all I need to do my job. That is a MacBook, a phone with a couple of good powerbanks and a internet connection. This enables me to work and be connected any time.
To cooperate effectively, I make sure to be a the right place at the right time. Old school meetings can be avoided. To get to work, a short talk does the job. This can be done through Slack, Skype or Google Hangouts.
